Saints Row IV Re-Elected: Where to Find The Energy Sword

Saints Row IV Re-Elected: Where to Find The Energy Sword

The Nintendo Switch has finally gotten a port of Saints Row IV: Re-Elected and new players are able to check out the seven-year-old game. The Saints Row games are known for the insane situations that players are put in. Throughout the course of Saints Row IV: Re-Elected, players will find themselves riding a giant nuclear warhead, running naked through an alien ship, and obtaining superpowers.

Saints Row IV: Re-Elected also gives players access to a large number of weapons and abilities to aid them in their quest to save the world. Most of these weapons are regular guns that can take out enemies normally. The special weapons, on the other hand, are where Saints Row IV truly shines. During this guide, players will learn how to track down the game’s Energy Sword.

The first thing that players will need to do is play the story mission “The Case of Mr. X”. This mission will pit the player against an eviler version of themselves, and upon completion will unlock MI6 agent and teammate Asha Odekar. After this mission, Asha will return to the player’s ship outside of the simulation, and it will unlock her loyalty mission. This mission is called “Three Count Royale” and upon completion, players will receive the Energy Sword.

Players will have to exit the simulation and talk to Asha on the ship in order to start her loyalty mission. Like all loyalty missions, there are several parts that require the player to do different kinds of tasks to finish the mission. These side tasks are pretty similar to other quests that players are used to doing.

The first task is a time trial that players must finish in a certain time in order to complete. The trial must be completed with at least 15 seconds left in order to obtain a bronze medal. Players should ensure they snag all the green orbs they can on the way as they will boost their speed considerably.

Asha will then direct players towards a flashpoint area that is populated by Zin troops. Players will just need to clear out all the enemies in the area anyway that players see fit. The best way to take care of this task is to use the freeze power to kill large clusters of Zin.

After this is over players must then fight against several waves of police officers. The first wave only has 6 police officers, but both the second and third waves will force players to go up against ten officers apiece. Telekinesis is a really good way to take care of as many officers as possible.

The final thing that Asha asks players to do is take down a large Hotspot. There are three generators that must be shut down in order to gain access to the controller. Players should keep an eye out for murderbots and the gun turrets in the area. These enemies can kill players relatively quickly.

Once the Hotspot is shut down, all players have to do is exit the simulation and return to Asha. After speaking to her players will then gain access to the new weapon. Enjoy cutting down as many enemies as possible with Saints Row IV: Re-Elected’s Energy Sword.

Saints Row IV: Re-Elected is available now on the Nintendo Switch.
