More About Good Boy

Saban Films Thriller Good Boy Follows A Man In A Dog Costume [EXCLUSIVE CLIP]

In Screen Rant’s exclusive clip from Good Boy, Sigrid asks to meet Frank. Christian is happy to introduce them but quietly warns her that she must treat Frank as a dog, not as a person. She hesitantly agrees, and Christian calls him out. Frank crawls out on his hands and knees, wearing his dog costume and panting. Sigrid turns and greets him, prompting Frank to bark and Christian to tell her that Frank likes her. Clearly unsure, she glances between Frank and Christian repeatedly.

The new thriller seems to be setting up a much darker arc for Christian, even though he seems friendly enough in the exclusive clip. The reason for Frank acting as his dog remains a mystery, but there must be a history between the two and a deeper reason for this stranger relationship. Sigrid’s willingness to try and accept this is unexpected and raises the question: What will be the final straw that pushes her over the edge?

Good Boy is written and directed by Viljar Bøe. The movie stars Gard Løkke, Katrine Lovise Øpstad Fredriksen, Amalie Willoch Njaastad, and Nicolai Narvesen Lied. Good Boy is rated R and has a runtime of 79 minutes.

Good Boy is available in select theaters as well as on digital and On Demand on September 8.
