Ryan Reynolds Recruits The Snyderverse’s Justice League In Deadpool 3 Crossover Fan Video

The Snyderverse’s Justice League joins forces with Ryan Reynolds’ Wade Wilson in a new Deadpool 3 fan video, imagining an insane Marvel Cinematic Universe crossover. One of the biggest upcoming MCU movies in The Multiverse Saga is Deadpool 3, which will bring Reynolds’ titular character into the same world as the Avengers. Set to be the only MCU installment in 2024, Deadpool 3 will explore how Wade gets integrated into the larger MCU while also seemingly bidding farewell to 20th Century Fox’s Marvel franchise.

While story details on Deadpool 3 are being kept tightly under wrap, the MCU audience is keeping itself entertained as they wait for more details on the Phase 5 movie. In a new fan video by Erathrim, the artist imagined what it would look like if Deadpool 3 featured a crossover with the DCEU.

Reynolds’ Deadpool can be seen coming over to the DCEU through an inter-dimensional portal, reaching out to Ben Affleck’s Batman and Henry Cavill’s Superman from Zack Snyder’s Justice League. In a hilarious Deadpool fashion, Wade is wielding the Green Lantern lantern that Reynolds had in the 2011 film, which makes especial sense given the movie has been a long-running joke in the Deadpool movies.

One of the biggest elements of Deadpool 3 is that Hugh Jackman is returning as Wolverine, despite having retired from the role after 2017’s Logan. While details about how he returns are naturally secretive, what is known is that Jackman will be donning the Wolverine costume in Deadpool 3 after nearly two decades. Whether or not Deadpool 3 will be Jackman’s actual final time playing the iconic X-Men hero remains to be seen.

While most of the original cast members from the previous Deadpool movies will return, it also appears that Deadpool 3 will, in one way or another, address Disney acquiring 20th Century Fox, which is how they got the Fantastic Four and X-Men film rights back. BTS photos revealed Wolverine and Deadpool fighting in front of a destroyed 20th Century Fox set, suggesting that this really is the end of that studio’s old Marvel-centric universe. Deadpool 3 may also tie into other Fox-Marvel movies, as Jennifer Garner is set to reprise the role of Elektra from Ben Affleck’s Daredevil movie, which led to her getting a spinoff film in 2005.

Based on the first Deadpool movies, Deadpool 3 is already shaping up to be a solid trilogy finale, while also kicking off a new beginning for Wade in the MCU. Since the movie is now in the process of filming again, time will tell if other spoilers will emerge through set photos. Once Deadpool 3 finally finishes principal photography, it will hopefully not be too long until Marvel Studios releases a first teaser trailer to get the world ready for the 2024 adventure.
