Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken is a beautifully animated story about life underwater, but is it appropriate for audiences of all ages? Produced by DreamWorks Animation, Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken follows the titular high school character as she navigates trying to fit in at Oceanside High. Her life becomes more complicated when she learns that she is actually a descendant of the protectors of the seas, known as the Krakens. This leads her on a mission to protect her school and her community from a mermaid named Chelsea.
