Robert Downey Jr Reveals New Infinity War Premiere Contest

Robert Downey Jr. launched a contest to win a trip to the Avengers: Infinity War premiere while also raising funds for a great cause. With superheroes dominating the film industry – mostly thanks to Marvel Studios and Warner Bros. – the actors who portray these heroes bring their heroic nature outside the big screen whenever they can.

Every big release comes with new opportunities to give back to the fans while also contributing to good causes all around the world. The next big film from Marvel is Avengers: Infinity War, which will bring together most of the current superheroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With the release date fast approaching, some of the film’s heroes have been launching contests to give fans a chance to attend the premiere, the latest of these being Tony Stark himself, Robert Downey Jr.

Via his official Twitter account, Downey Jr. shared a video explaining (in his very peculiar style) what this contest will be about, where two lucky winners will attend the Avengers: Infinity War premiere on April 23rd in Los Angeles. All you have to do to enter is donate $10 to Random Act Funding – a philanthropic organization founded by Susan and Robert Downey that supports multiple charities. In this case, donations will go to ROHHAD Association and Brian Ortega Foundation. Those interested can donate through CrowdRise’s page for this campaign, and the more you donate, the bigger your chances to win.

ROHHAD Association brings support to children suffering from ROHHAD Syndrome – an extremely rare life threatening and life limiting disease that affects children after the age of 1.5 years old. The children affected by it are otherwise healthy prior to the onset of symptoms, and the diagnosis is considered terminal. The term ROHHAD is an acronym for Rapid Onset Obesity with Hypothalamic Dysfunction, Hypoventilation and Autonomic Nervous System. The mission of this association is to fund and promote research, offer support for patients and their families, and raise awareness.
