RHOSLC’s Jen Shah Screams & Swears In Heated Public Argument

RHOSLC’s Jen Shah Screams & Swears In Heated Public Argument

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah was recorded screaming and cursing during an explosive argument on the streets of downtown Salt Lake City. It comes as no surprise that Jen would be a little on edge as the housewife is currently awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to multiple counts of felony wire fraud and money laundering. She previously maintained her innocence, even speaking about it at the RHOSLC season 2 reunion earlier this year, before entering a plea deal in July.

Jen was seen getting into a heated argument recently. In the video of the incident, which was shared by TMZ, Jen wore a gold, puffer-style jacket and paced back and forth on the sidewalk with a small group of people. Some of the dialogue was inaudible, but Jen could be heard shouting, “F*** you,” several times. There was also a repeated mention of a “husband” and someone, not Jen, continued to throw out homophobic slurs. At the end of the argument, Jen stormed away from the scene. Law enforcement were not involved.

RHOSLC’s Jen Shah Argues With Strangers Over Their Homophobic Slurs

TMZ later gave an update to the situation, with a source telling the outlet that Jen was leaving dinner with friends when two strangers began yelling out homophobic slurs. Jen was simply reacting to their hateful actions, and the explosive argument witnessed in the video ensued. The two strangers in question were reportedly not captured in the video, but the homophobic slurs could be heard in the background. Jen’s husband, University of Utah’s Coach Shah, did not appear to be present at the scene.

It comes as no surprise to fans of RHOSLC that Jen is never afraid to hold back her feelings. In RHOSLC season 2, Jen almost got into a physical altercation with fellow cast member Lisa Barlow for not having her back. Going back to RHOSLC season 1, Jen was filmed yelling and throwing glass at a Top Golf for her own husband’s birthday party. It’s surprising that the cause of Jen’s explosive fight on the streets of downtown Salt Lake City was strangers saying homophobic slurs, considering she previously received heat for speaking about Meredith Marks’ son Brooks and his sexuality.

Although her initially scheduled sentencing has been postponed, Jen is facing upwards of 30 years in prison pending the results of her trial. The plea deal she took in July could lessen the sentence, but it seems highly likely the Bravo star will be serving time no matter what. Despite her charges, Jen has not stepped out of the stoplight. Meredith recently called her Bravo castmate “gutsy” for filming RHOSLC season 3 amid all the highly negative press. Fans have to look no further than the currently airing season of RHOSLC for continued inside information about the star’s case.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. EST on Bravo.
