RHONY: Inside Eboni K. Williams’ HR Investigations Against Ramona Singer

Eboni K. Williams is clapping back at Ramona Singer’s recent remarks by providing clarity on the HR complaints she brought against The Real Housewives of New York City OG. Eboni and Ramona’s season 13 feud resulted in the show being put on pause and an investigation into alleged racism. Eboni and Ramona had a hard time getting along during filming and there were reports accusing Ramona of making a racial remark about it. As a result, season 13 became the first season in the entire franchise’s history to not film a reunion. The show has since been completely rebooted with no word on which of the season 13 cast will return on the new Legacy spinoff.

Ramona recently made claims that Eboni was not blacklisted by the rest of the cast. Instead, she was difficult for producers to “control.” But once Eboni caught wind of Ramona’s remarks, she took to her Holding Court podcast to respond. After shading Ramona for not having “any checks coming in,” Eboni also noted how nice Ramona was to her when they bumped into each other at Bravocon. She then ripped into the “30 minutes” Ramona spent talking about her on Carlos King’s podcast Reality With the King. Eboni said Ramona brought up the axed season 13 reunion, so she now felt the need to explain why the show was put on pause after an HR investigation was launched. Eboni reveals she went to Bravo’s Human Resources department after she was told Ramona said, “See this is why we shouldn’t have black women on this show.” An investigation was launched, and Bravo HR said they could not “corroborate” the claims against Ramona. “We are not saying she did or didn’t. Our attempts failed to show any corroborating evidence,” Eboni says HR told her.

Ramona’s HR Investigation Was ReopenedRHONY: Inside Eboni K. Williams’ HR Investigations Against Ramona Singer

The investigation was reopened after Heather Thompson’s tell-all with Page Six in November 2021 where she claimed she was present when Ramona made the remarks and she “freaked out.” HR concluded the second investigation after Heather was the only person to come forward with claims saying she heard Ramona make the remarks. “Well, it’s not as if we don’t find Heather credible, but as the only person willing to say they heard it, her single account is not sufficient for us to make a larger conclusion,” Eboni says HR told her after the second investigation was closed. Eboni went on to reveal a separate time when Ramona was allegedly investigated by HR and had it corroborated. The investigation was a result of an incident while filming in the Hamptons when Ramona allegedly said, “Damn, it’s so many black chicks around here now, I can’t keep y’all’s names straight.

Eboni wasn’t done with her revelations against Ramona. She also claimed to have gone to lunch with a Black senior producer on the show who allegedly told Eboni they heard Ramona use the n-word in front of her. Eboni’s new claims thicken the plot into Ramona’s alleged racism. The allegations against Ramona were enough for production to end and for the show to get a full reboot. If the claims aren’t true, it’s a wonder why RHONY didn’t continue with a reunion and season 14 with returning cast members. Instead, an entirely new season 14 cast was unveiled at Bravocon. Ramona has spoken out against the new cast and calls the season 14 reboot the “loser show.

Meanwhile, Eboni teased the possibility of her return to Bravo in some capacity and mocked Ramona for being angry and out of “work.” The Real Housewives of New York City made it 13 seasons before a racism scandal rocked the entire cast and crew and put the show on pause. As it prepares for a new era that includes a Legacy cast of alums, Ramona’s name has not been announced in the lineup. Luanna de Lesseps and Sonja Morgan are rumored to be involved. But no word on Ramona making a comeback.
