RHONY: Eboni K. Williams Denies Suing Bravo For Not Renewing Contract

Eboni K. Williams is shutting down rumors that she’s suing Bravo over not renewing her Real Housewives of New York City contract for a second season. The rumor comes after weeks of gossip surrounding the fate of the Bravo series. Some news outlets claimed that the show was planning to go on a hiatus and was not going to film a new season until 2022. In turn, other outlets have said that Real Housewives OG Ramona Singer might be getting the boot after this season as well.

While nothing has been confirmed, the RHONY reunion has been delayed amid tension within the cast. Most of the tension steamed between Ramona and Eboni following comments from the fans calling Ramona a racist. However, Eboni and Ramona were recently spotted out in New York City together grabbing dinner. However, whatever’s going on behind the scenes at Bravo when it comes to RHONY, Eboni has nothing to do with it.

On Monday, Eboni K. Williams took to the Instagram comments of @bestofbravo to shut down any rumors that she was suing Bravo for not renewing her Real Housewives of New York contract. “Lies,” Eboni started, “Your sources are either liars or idiots. There is no legal cause of action for not being renewed. So thirsty for clicks and raggedy hateful comments. ‘Allegedly’ my a**.” The social media account shared earlier this week that Bravo was allegedly not wanting to renew her contract, causing the reality star to seek legal counsel. In fact, according to the source close to @bestofbravo, this is what had been delaying the RHONY reunion. However, Eboni denied the rumors calling the sources of the account “idiots.”

Besides Eboni being falsely accused of suing the network, other casting rumors have been circulating about RHONY. According to sources from @deuxmoi, Bravo is looking to bring back Tinsely Mortimer and Bethenny Frankel onto the cast. Tinsley, who recently split from her fiancé Scott Kluth, isn’t in deeps talks with the network, but they are indeed considering her return. As for Bethenny, she allegedly wants an “executive producer credit and to shape the show.” Bravo isn’t sure they want to give Bethenny that kind of power and are figuring out how to make it work. The source also revealed that both Eboni and Ramona will be coming back, with Luann de Lesseps returning in a “friend of” role. Alas, none of these rumors have been confirmed by the network or the show, nor have they been verified by any of the Housewives.

Even though some of the viewers aren’t loving Eboni this season, she is offering a new perspective to RHONY. Bravo would likely not want to get rid of a person who is offering such a different side of NYC. Most fans believe that Eboni deserves a second season, whether or not the ratings went down this season.

The Real Housewives of New York City airs Tuesdays at 9 pm EST on Bravo.
