RHONJ: Teresa Giudice’s Feud With Gorgas Causes BravoCon Panel Split

Bravo host Andy Cohen confirmed that Teresa Giudice’s ongoing feud with her brother Joe Gorga and his wife Melissa Gorga was the reason The Real Housewives of New Jersey panel at BravoCon 2022 was split into two parts. In August, it was revealed that Teresa and the Gorgas were no longer on speaking terms. Sources revealed a fight broke out during the RHONJ season 13 finale taping. Due to the fight, Joe and Melissa decided against attending Teresa and Luis “Louie” Ruelas’ wedding. Later, insiders revealed the Gorgas’ feud with Teresa started because they believed she spread rumors that Melissa allegedly cheated on Joe with actor Nick Barrotta.

Since then, the Gorgas and Teresa have been at loggerheads, and signs of their feud played out at BravoCon 2022. There were two RHONJ panels at the event. The first panel featured Joe and Melissa, Margaret Josephs and her husband Joe Benigno, and Jackie and Evan Goldschneider. Meanwhile, the second panel featured Teresa and Luis, Jennifer and Bill Aydin, and Dolores Catania and her ex-husband Frank Catania. However, Andy took the time to explain the reason for splitting RHONJ into two panels. According to Page Six, the Bravo chief noted during the “Ask Andy” portion of BravoCon that the feud between Teresa and the Gorgas was the reason for the split. He said, “They’re really not in a good place, as you might have gathered.”

Andy further said the Teresa and the Gorgas were in a good place the last time RHONJ viewers saw them. However, since they have had another falling-out amid filming of the upcoming RHONJ season 13, Bravo decided not to spoil too much at the convention. Andy said, “We’re on the precipice for a really great season of New Jersey airing, so we’re in a really limbo-y place where if we bring them all out together, they’re in a different place than they were the last time we saw them all as a group.” The Watch What Happens Live host further opined that it was better to let RHONJ live on air so viewers can see it and pick up with everything at the next RHONJ reunion show. He noted that it was a balancing act because viewers want things to play out on television, and he wanted to give everyone a good time at the conference.

The revelations Andy made about splitting the BravoCon panel only heightens expectations ahead of the upcoming RHONJ season 13. It also shows that Teresa’s feud with her brother and sister-in-law has worsened after they failed to attend her wedding despite being invited. Teresa was deeply hurt by her brother’s absence from her wedding. She noted she found out he was going to be absent only a day before and described how heartbreaking it was for her as Joe is her only family. Joe and Teresa have always been at loggerheads due to their rocky sibling relationship. However, their latest feud looks like one that will drag on for a while.

Many fans still expect Teresa to get back on peaceful terms with Joe and Melissa. After all, they are family, and blood runs thicker than water. However, it seems both parties were deeply hurt with the happenings leading up to their latest feud and afterward. The Gorgas are angry Teresa spread rumors that could have caused havoc in their marriage, while Teresa is unhappy they missed her wedding. Only time will tell if they eventually make up and see eye to eye. However, for now, fans will be itching for the new season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey to see what the drama is all about.
