Caroline Stanbury is one of the stars of Bravo’s new series The Real Housewives of Dubai, and she recently shared that her good friend Lindsay Lohan would be great on the show. Fans may remember Caroline from another hit Bravo show, Ladies of London, which centered around the lives of high-society women. Unfortunately, it was short-lived and canceled after three seasons.
Following Ladies of London, Caroline and her then-husband, Cem Habib, moved to Dubai with their children Yasmine, Aaron and Zac. In 2019, Caroline shared that she and Cem decided to separate after 17 years of marriage. She stated that despite their divorce, they wished to remain friends and provide a healthy family unit for their children. Caroline made waves when she coupled up with ex-soccer player Sergio Carrallo, who is 18 years her junior. The two recently tied the knot in November 2021 in a lavish ceremony in Dubai. There has been talk that Caroline and Sergio’s wedding may be featured on The Real Housewives of Dubai.
Caroline recently told Page Six that Lindsay Lohan, who also resides in Dubai, would make a great addition to the franchise. She shared, “I’ve known Lindsay for years. She’s an actress. She’d be a great Housewife!” However, Caroline went on to say that she didn’t think Lindsay would be interested in being on the show, as her first love is acting. Lindsay is no stranger to the reality television world. In 2019, she starred on MTV’s Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club, which centered around her Mykonos nightclub, Lohan Beach House.
Lindsay’s short stint on reality television may be her last. Caroline revealed that the actress is filming a new movie and is busy with her podcast, Lohdown. She continued, “I can’t imagine she’d be joining us but happy to have her if she wants to.” When Page Six asked the other Dubai housewives what they thought about Lindsay joining them, Chanel Ayan said she has met her a few times and is friends with someone that is close with her. She stated, “I did actually ask that friend of mine that’s very close to her if she wanted to be a part of it.” Chanel went on to say that Lindsay is “obsessed” with the Real Housewives shows.
The Real Housewives franchise started off by featuring unknown women who led regular lives. It eventually evolved into casting housewives who were also well-known actresses. RHODubai star Chanel considers herself the first Black supermodel. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills featured famous movie star Denise Richards, as well as soap opera stars Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson. Fans would love to get a glimpse into the life of a major star like Lindsay. Although she is neither married nor has kids, perhaps she will make a cameo as Caroline’s friend in a future season of The Real Housewives of Dubai.
