RHOBH: Lisa Rinna Celebrates First Thanksgiving Without Her Mom

Lisa Rinna spent her first Thanksgiving without her mother as she and fans of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills continue to mourn her loss, after she died following multiple strokes. Lisa started appearing on the show in season 6 and instantly became known as the cast member who stirs the pot the most. Most notably, she butt heads with Kim Richards on a number of occasions. Their biggest blowup came during a cast trip in Amsterdam when Lisa broke a wine glass and acted as if she was going to choke Kim. The argument stemmed from a season of Kim feeling judged by Lisa and Eileen Davidson, and escalated when Kim insinuated that Lisa had an eating disorder and threatened to expose secrets about her husband.

One of the things Lisa is known for is being the one to call everyone out on their actions. Due to this, fans were upset with Lisa for going soft on Erika Jayne accusing her of being scared of her. Fans called her out for the difference in the harsh way she treated Denise Richards in season 10 and how easy she went on Erika in season 11. They claim what Denise was accused of doing was much less severe than what Erika is being accused of doing, however Lisa chose to demonized Denise. She admitted during the most recent reunion that she feels bad, not only for the way she treated Denise, but also for the rumors she spread about Yolanda Hadid and for the way she treated Kim during her sobriety journey.

But Lisa’s softer side comes out sometimes, especially around her family and most notably, her mother Lois. As reported by Page Six, Lisa posted on Instagram how difficult it was for her to celebrate the holiday this year. She posted a picture of the place cards on her table, one of them being for Lois. In the caption, Lisa explained that someone placed a place card for Lois on the Thanksgiving table as a way to keep her memory alive on the holiday. Lisa claims that once she found the place card, she and everyone else grieving the loss cried. She called it an unexpected yet sweet moment. Lisa also posted a video of herself dancing to “Lovely Day” by Bill Withers to wish everyone a happy day.

Just a few weeks ago, Lisa’s daughter Amelia confirmed to her millions of Instagram followers that her grandmother had passed away. She posted a number of pictures featuring Lois at different points in her life, including her wedding day and lazy days making TikTok videos. In the post she called her grandmother her best friend and thanked her for being a great role model and teaching her what it means to be a strong woman. Not too long after Amelia made the announcement, Lisa confirmed the news by posting a picture of her mom on her wedding day, saying heaven gained another angel.

Season 12 of RHOBH is already filming, and is rumored to be focusing more heavily on Erika Jayne’s legal troubles. It’s unclear if the cameras captured any moments between Lisa and her mom during her final days or if it will show Lisa grieving at all. Will Lisa take to heart what fans were asking of her and be more harsh on Erika, or will she continue to go soft on her while stirring the pot behind the scenes? She is known for being a troublemaker on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, so really anything is possible when it comes to her. Though maybe the loss of her mother has softened her.
