RHOBH: Kyle Richards Doesn’t Know Yet If She’s Returning For Season 12

Kyle Richards said she’s not sure she’ll return to The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills. The star has experienced many highs and many lows on the series, sometimes alongside her two sisters, Kim Richards and Kathy Hilton, throughout various seasons. Kathy joined the cast in a “friend” role for season 11. Kim was an OG but left the show in 2015.

Despite the publicized feud between Kyle and Kathy, the sisters recently reached a reconciliation, and they were comfortable together on screen. The disagreement started almost four years ago, when Kyle helped create American Woman, a scripted show inspired by her upbringing with Kathleen Dugan, their mother. Sister Kathy was not happy with the idea of the show and felt it could have put Kathleen in a bad light. The sisters mentioned the feud in certain conversations and interviews throughout the season. In one of Kathy’s interviews, she had tears in her eyes when she expressed sadness in clashing with Kyle. Kathy recently stated she’d love to come back to the show next season.

Kyle, however, may be a different story. In an interview with Pedestrian, she was asked if she would return for season 12 of The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills. The star gave a few cryptic responses, but ultimately said, “I don’t know.” She explained that, eventually, she’ll “have to walk away” from the hit show, of which she’s been a member for 11 years. The interviewer begged Kyle to stay, and called her the “queen of Beverly Hills,” a title bestowed on her since Lisa Vanderpump’s exit in 2019.

In the interview, Kyle said that RHOBH is far more exhausting than Michael Myers in Kyle’s new movie, Halloween Kills. On the set of the film, she had more energy, she said, and was excited to tackle each scene. Her castmates on Bravo, however, are “pretty scary,” and give her a lot of stress. She was exhausted in the upcoming spin-off as well, Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, which stars various housewives from the franchise. The Beverly Hills OG said the production was intense, and cameras were in her face almost 24/7. Kyle also discussed a Christmas movie she filmed with Breaking Bad actor Betsy Brandt. She pointed out how dramatically different her upcoming movies were going to be, a slasher film and a holiday flick.

If she decides to leave The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills, Kyle may focus on her acting career, which she’s always valued. The Halloween Kills star has had a busy few years, in spite of the pandemic, and perhaps she feels it’s time for a break from Bravo. If this is the case, her fans will certainly be disappointed when season 12 hits the screen. The entire Bravo franchise made many casting changes in the last year, for better or for worse. Kyle’s departure would throw a wrench into one of its most popular installments.

The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
