RHOBH: Garcelle Beauvais Reveals She Tested Positive For COVID-19

The Real Houseiwves of Beverly Hills star Garcelle Beauvais revealed she tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this week. Garcelle has quickly become a fan favorite on the Bravo series after joining the cast for season 10 in 2020. She was introduced to the ladies through castmate Lisa Rinna but was very close with former costar Denise Richards. Despite Denise’s departure from RHOBH, Garcelle decided to stick it out for season 11.

Throughout season 11, Garcelle was on the fence about rekindling a friendship with Lisa. In the season prior, their shared friend, Denise, left after Lisa, and the other RHOBH, ladies gossiped about her rumored affair with Brandi Glanville. Garcelle felt horrible for Denise and didn’t appreciate the way Lisa completely went against a friend of more than 20 years. Despite her uncertainty with the women, Garcelle decided to continue her time on RHOBH.

On December 13, Garcelle took to her Instagram account to tell her fans that she tested positive for COVID-19. Garcelle, who is fully vaccinated, revealed that her twin sons, Jaid and Jax, have tested negative but are continuously testing them to make sure they are negative. The actress began the video by wishing her followers a “happy Monday,” hoping it was a good Monday for them. Garcelle confirmed that she feels fine and doesn’t have any symptoms but will be quarantined for the next 10 days. The reality star then urged her fans to “be safe” as it’s “crazy out there” even if the world is going back to normal.

Garcelle, who petitioned for a new RHOBH cast, continued with her video, asking her fans to send any TV and movie recommendations since she will be stuck in her house for the next week or so. She also claimed she might show up on The Real, where she is a co-host, during one of their segments called Girl Talk via Zoom. However, Garcelle didn’t discuss how her positive test will affect her filming schedule with RHOBH. While it hasn’t been confirmed by Bravo if she will be returning next season, Garcelle has been spotted filming with the ladies on several occasions since they began production in October. So far, there is a rumor going around that Garcelle is reportedly feuding with Crystal Minkoff-Kung and is working to mend her friendship with Lisa.

Garcelle is upset about testing positive for COVID-19 but is now staying home in an effort to help stop the spread of this deadly virus. While she is quarantining, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is using this time to catch up on movies and TV shows.
