RHOBH: Erika Jayne Appears At Vegas Bar Grand Opening Amid Legal Troubles

Erika Jayne from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills made her first red carpet appearance since her legal troubles were made public. Last year, Erika’s estranged husband Tom Girardi was accused of embezzling at least $2 million in settlement funds from clients who lost loved ones in the Lion Air plane crash in 2018. Shortly after this accusation, an exposé in the Los Angeles Times revealed that this wasn’t the first time Tom allegedly stole money from his clients.

Former clients of Tom’s have also accused him of using their money to fund Erika’s lifestyle, which is currently at the center of attention on RHOBH season 11. The trustees in charge of the case also believe that Erika spent $25 million that was given to her through Tom’s firm. The singer has since denied that she spent any of this money and claims she hasn’t had any role in managing her ex’s company.

On Tuesday night, Erika, who clapped back at Bethenny Frankel, attended the grand opening of the SushiSamba Tree Bar & Lounge in Las Vegas amid her growing legal issues, which was reported by Page Six. The 50-year-old showed up to the location dressed in a satin pink minidress with matching heels and gold hoops. Her ensemble is quite a change from what the reality star has been wearing since filming for RHOBH wrapped. Lately, Erika has changed out her over-the-top looks following her and Tom’s legal scandal. Cameras caught the Georgia native earlier that day leaving her Hancock Park home dressed in a green sweatshirt with a picture of a deer on the chest with sneakers and a large Chanel tote. Once she got to the venue and posed for pictures on the red carpet, Erika, who didn’t hold back at the reunion, dined at the new establishment.

Erika enjoyed a variety of sushi dishes and listened to music played by DJ Samantha Ronson. When celebrities such as Erika go to a grand opening of a restaurant or store, they are usually offered certain benefits to help promote the new locale. While it is unclear if Erika got paid to be there, it’d make sense if she did. After all, Erika has been doing her best to lay low in recent times. The Bravo star is currently being sued for $25 million by the trustees who are handling the bankruptcy case, while Tom owes more than $101 million in the same case.

While it was shocking to see Erika out at a Las Vegas bar opening, she did not mention anything about her and Tom’s ongoing lawsuits. However, she kept to herself and enjoyed being out of the house since her life began to fall apart. Erika doesn’t want to run away and this appearance only proves that she isn’t going to let this legal issue get her down.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
