RHOA: Why Cameras Were Shut Off During “Stripper Gate”

Bravo fans are about to learn why The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s film cameras were shut off during the infamous “stripper gate” scandal. All the women were in South Carolina for Cynthia Bailey’s bachelorette, and the party quickly heated up. However, it became more scandalous than any of them could’ve imagined.

Season 13 has started off well as we watched “Porsha Luther King” fight in the Black Lives Matter Movement and Kenya Moore finally filing for divorce. The season has come to the point where viewers will see how the scandal rocked the house. It all went down on a famed girls trip where Kenya was dropping her duties as the hostess with the mostest. Things reportedly got X-rated when Kandi Burruss hired a male stripper she was familiar with. There were reports that two housewives got drunk and took part in a threesome.

Once again, the fourth wall has been broken by the Atlanta housewives as Page Six reports that some cast members asked for the cameras to be shut off. The outlet obtained a sneak peek of the most recent episode, which showed Porsha asking the stripper if he could join the women and “just party.”

The clips showed the male dancer agreeing, but only if the Bravo crew would stop filming. After the mother of one speaks with Kandi, fans watched as the singer asked production to take a break saying, Hopefully, we can get you guys to turn off the cameras for a little while so that we can actually have fun.” Kenya also piped in, saying she agreed that they should stop filming. It got even more interesting when LaToya Ali pointed out that even if the producers choose to stop filming, the house is still rigged with ceiling cameras to catch their every move. But Kandi, who is a veteran, replied, “I don’t give a f–k about those cameras.” Bravo viewers can then hear producers saying, “let’s cut on our end,” as they remove the cast mics.

Clearly, someone should have paid attention to LaToya’s issue with the ceiling cameras because it all went down. The stripper scandal that allegedly went down resulted in one housewife exiting production as Tanya Sam walked away from the cameras. There have been reports of her involvement in sexual rendezvous with Porsha Williams and the male stripper. Both women have adamantly denied the rumors. Fans can tune in on Sunday to see the whole story.
