Kenya Moore recently took her fans for a trip down memory lane when she revealed the “disaster” date night she had with Kanye West. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star spilled on the events that led up to her first and last date with the rap/fashion mogul.
Kenya has earned her stripes as a veteran on RHOA. After making her inception into the hit franchise in season 5, she has remained a standout among the ladies for frequently being at the center of the drama. From being accused of flirting with people’s husbands, to twirling her way into spats with almost every woman on the cast, Kenya has risen up the ranks over the years. Her most notable moments include an infamous reunion show catfight with Porsha Williams as well as her frenemy relationship with former OG housewife NeNe Leakes. In season 13, fans watch as Kenya grapples with moving forward on divorcing her husband Marc Daly while raising their daughter alone during a pandemic. However, she recently revealed a throwback memory with a husband from the Keeping Up With The Kardashians family.
Who would have thought Kanye West was into housewives? It turns out, long before the Yeezy founder had eyes for Kim Kardashian, he sparked up an attraction for Kenya Moore. During a Friday appearance on The Wendy Williams Show, Kenya dished on the disastrous date night she had with the “Stronger” rapper. “I did go out with Kanye once,” she told Williams after being asked if she dated any celebrities, Page Six reports. “That was a disaster,” she added before detailing the x-rated activity going down at Ye’s pad. “Somehow, we ended up going to his house and there was, like, some very explicit things on TV,” the Bravo star recalled. “I was lost, he left me alone, I was just there for like five minutes, wandering around his house. When I followed the noises, he was watching something on TV that he probably shouldn’t have been. So, that was my exit!”
Despite the kinky and unexpected vibes, Kenya made sure to end on a positive note. “As much as I love him, it was just the craziest thing,” she said. The reality star has been dealing with the deterioration of her three-year marriage. She and Marc married in a private ceremony in St. Lucia in 2017. By November 2018 they welcomed their daughter Brooklyn Daly. However, the couple went on to split less than a year later. Her estranged husband lives in New York City and has been dealing with the effects the pandemic has had on his restaurant businesses.
As a result, Kenya revealed on the premiere how she has been on the receiving end of his frustration. Meanwhile, Kim and Kanye are still happily married. Maybe his explicit dates were her thing.
