Reverse-Flash Makes Sinister Debut In Trippy Flashpoint Fan Poster

Reverse-Flash makes his very creepy debut in an excellent and unsettling Flashpoint fan poster. Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen/the Flash has been waiting a long time to get his first solo film, as Miller first stepped into the role for 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The DCEU’s Flash movie has faced many setbacks over the years, from release date delays to changing directors. Currently, It: Chapter 2 boss Andrés Muschietti is on hand to direct, and The Flash is poised for release on June 3, 2022. Pre-production was supposed to begin earlier this year, but the coronavirus pandemic has likely affected its progress.

Even despite the long development period, the basis of The Flash has been known for a while now. The Flash movie will take its cues from the famous Flashpoint storyline, which has already been adapted for an animated movie and the CW’s The Flash television show. In Flashpoint, Barry goes back in time to stop his mother from being murdered, but in doing so, he completely alters reality. Fans have been looking forward to seeing Flashpoint get brought to the big screen, though Muschietti has already warned them that The Flash will depict a different version of Flashpoint.

In this new fan poster for The Flash from Bosslogic, Barry’s reality seems to have fractured like a mirror. And who’s there lingering in the background? Reverse-Flash, one of Barry’s biggest enemies from the comics. Not only is this an excellent visual, but it’s a great way to introduce Reverse-Flash. Check it out down below.

Fans are still waiting to hear exactly how The Flash‘s Flashpoint will differ from the comics, but there’s already one major change at play: Flashpoint Batman reportedly won’t be included. In the original story, Bruce Wayne is killed as a young boy, and his father Thomas goes on to become Batman. While there are many fans who would like to see this version of Batman, he so far doesn’t seem to be part of The Flash.

Instead, Michael Keaton might once again put on the cowl as Bruce. Just last month, news broke that Keaton is in talks to return to the DC world to play Batman for The Flash and other DCEU films. Should this deal go through, it seems like Barry’s time travel adventure will open the door for Keaton’s Batman from the Tim Burton films to appear in the DCEU. It certainly seems like an interesting prospect, so hopefully it will actually happen. After all, Barry might need Bruce’s help in taking down Reverse-Flash.
