A fan of Resident Evil Village has created a Skyrim mod that puts Lady Dimitrescu into the game. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was originally released ten years ago. With the open-world game arriving on several different platforms over the years, it has remained immensely popular, though fans remain eager for the next installment in the franchise. The upcoming remastered version of the action role-playing video game comes with enhanced graphics and even mod support on consoles. This mod support allows players to use fan-created mods to customize their gameplay. They can change their armor, improve the NPCs (non-player characters), and even change their character presets to become Lady Dimitrescu–a character from a totally different game franchise.
First appearing in Resident Evil Village, Lady Alcina Dimitrescu has won the hearts of fans with her confident personality and striking appearance. Enthusiasm for the character contributed to a considerable amount of hype for the game before release, and she remains a fan-favorite now that the game is out. Lady Dimistrescu has inspired countless fan art, including one image of her wearing a revealing Met Gala dress. With Lady Dimitrescu’s popularity, it’s not surprising to see a version of her available to Skyrim players as a character preset mod.
Nyehehe, a fan of both the Resident Evil Village and Skyrim franchises, has created a mod that allows players to change their appearance to look like the infamous Lady D (via Game Rant). In the description of the downloadable mod on Nexusmods, Nyehehe explains that players must have two other mods–the Racemenu and High Poly Heads mods–in order to correctly apply their Lady Dimitrescu mod. In fact, in their description, they mention how their mod is essentially made using a combination of other mods. Nyehehe also mentions that to get Lady Dimitrescu’s notorious height, users should rack her height scale up to 1.65 in the RaceMenu. With these adjustments, Skyrim players can be Lady Dimitrescu as they play the game.
Mod creator Nyehehe mentions a disclaimer for their Lady D mod, though. Nyehehe’s pale Lady Dimitrescu is noticeably more youthful. They explain that though they tried their best to recreate the vampire lady, they couldn’t apply Lady D’s aged, sunken features without her looking like a wrinkly old woman. Nyehehe also says that they don’t intend to make their Lady Dimitrescu a follower–characters that help the Dragonborn by traveling with, fighting for, and completing duties for them. However, they do welcome their fellow modders to pick up where they left off and make Lady Dimitrescu a follower, as long as they let Nyehehe know first.
Mods continue to prolong the playability and love of Skyrim. Though there has yet to be another game in The Elder Scrolls video game series, a sixth installment is expected in the future, and fans are still waiting for news about it. Until then, players can find new enjoyment from the game by adding mods like Nyehehe’s.
