Raya & The Last Dragon Cast Guide: What The Characters Look Like In Real Life

Disney’s Raya and the Last Dragon features a phenomenal voice cast, and here’s what the actors look like in real life and where viewers would recognize them from. As Disney Animation Studios’ first release since 2019’s Frozen II, the interest in Don Hall and Carlos López Estrada’s feature film was already high. However, the notable cast has only increased the hype surrounding the original movie set to release when much of the population is relying on immersive tales as a way to escape the real world.

Inspired from cultures throughout Southeast Asia, Raya and the Last Dragon follows the fictional world of Kumandra, which is broken into five separate lands. When Druun monsters threaten humanity, the existing dragons sacrificed themselves. 500 years later, a young warrior named Raya embarks on a journey to find the last surviving dragon in an attempt to save Kumandra when the monsters return.

With Kelly Marie Tran, Awkwafina, and others portraying notable characters in Raya and the Last Dragon, there are already strong Disney connections to the cast, especially when it comes to the MCU actors. While there are a few newcomers on the cast list, many of the names are well known from their respective careers. In fact, some of them have previously worked together before their Raya and the Last Dragon casting. That said, here’s a character guide for Disney’s animated fantasy film.
