Ray Donovan Spinoff Confirmed With Guy Ritchie Set To Direct

A new spinoff of the Showtime TV series Ray Donovan has been confirmed, with filmmaker Guy Ritchie attached to direct. The original series follows its titular Ray Donovan (Liev Schreiber), a fixer who cleans up after often-famous clients embroiled in illegal activities. The show ran for 7 seasons, ending with a TV movie in 2022. However, a possible follow-up had been teased for Paramount+ in 2023.

Now, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that the action-packed Ray Donovan is getting a spinoff on Paramount+, with Ritchie set to direct and executive produce the show. The series, titled The Donovans, is loosely based on the original series, situated in London. The 10-episode show is expected to premiere on Paramount+ later this year. Check out the official description for the series below:

With the most powerful clients in Europe,
The Donovans
will see family fortunes and reputations at risk, odd alliances unfold, and betrayal around every corner; and while the family might be London’s most elite fixers today, the nature of their business means there is no guarantee what’s in store tomorrow.

More to come…
