Queer Eye: Antoni Shows Off Shocking New Buzz Cut

Antoni Porowski from Queer Eye just got a buzz cut, which is miles away from his signature hair look. The handsome reality TV star is usually seen with longer layers on top. Now, he’s changed it up by going for a super-short haircut. Fans are still processing the change.

Antoni is the show’s resident food expert, but he’s gotten flak in the past. This is because the dishes he prepared during the first season of the show were a bit too simple to please certain foodies. He had a hard time dealing with the criticism at first but has now settled into his Queer Eye role. He’s indicated that he sometimes keeps things on the simple side purposely so that the people he helps on the show are able to learn with ease. Some of these people don’t have much experience with cooking and other types of food prep. While Porowski has detractors, he also has many fans. They appreciate his compassion, his looks. his style, and his love of Corgi dogs. Antoni is gathering plenty of admirers on social media. He currently has 4.5 million Instagram followers. These Queer Eye devotees got a shock when Antoni posted a pic of himself with his new cropped hair. This photo dropped a few days ago.

So, how does it look? Well, judge for yourself. The pic below is from his official Instagram account, @antoni and it shows off his new haircut to perfection. In the pic, Antoni’s chilling at a restaurant, and the caption is as witty as Queer Eye fans would expect it to be. He posted that he almost put food through his mask three times. According to E!, Antoni looks “completely unrecognizable” with his new ‘do. Of course, the mask didn’t help, but it’s nice to see Antoni wearing a face covering during the pandemic.

Antoni may have wanted to beat the heat with his cropped haircut. He styled the look with a sleeveless top from Adidas, buff arms, and a glam wristwatch. Yes, the Fab Five give makeovers, but they can get makeovers, too.

Porowski has branched out with this look, even though he surely knows that many Queer Eye viewers prefer him with longer hair. Going out of a comfort zone is what the show is about, so it’s fun to see this Queer Eye star practicing what he preaches.
