What To Expect From The Quantum Leap Finale

There are several ongoing plotlines and loose ends that Quantum Leap season 2 must address before the season comes to a close. The show’s latest episode, “The Outsider,” sees Magic make a surprising decision regarding his team. While Ian is responsible for stealing Gideon’s quantum chip, they are the only person who has the knowledge base to bring Ben home. Rather than force Jenn to take the fall in Ian’s place, Magic resigns from the team, effective immediately.

Magic has been a key player in the Quantum Leap Project since it was rebooted, making his departure an astronomical loss. The team will likely do whatever it takes to bring their boss back on board, but freeing Ben from the endless loop of leaps remains a top priority. Ben’s potential homecoming has grown even more complex following Addison’s breakup with Tom and his current feelings for Hannah.
