Punisher’s New Powers Officially Make Him An Avengers-Level Threat

In Punisher #9 by Marvel Comics, after Frank Castle kills Ares and embraces his role as The Fist of The Beast, some of the greatest heroes in the Marvel Universe and realize the Punisher is a significant problem and needs to be stopped.

In Punisher #9 by Jason Aaron, Jesus Saiz, Paul Azaceta, Matt Hollingsworth, and VC’s Cory Petit from Marvel Comics, the Punisher takes on Ares and his army, defeating the God of War and taking his soldiers for his own. As the Fist of the Beast, Punisher fully embraces his role with The Hand, and when his ninjas start killing the “worst of the worst” across the Marvel Universe, Moon Knight reports to his fellow heroes about their former allies’ powers. Stopping the Punisher won’t be easy for Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, as his supernatural power and army as the Fist of the Beast will be difficult obstacles to overcome, even for the strongest heroes in the Marvel Universe.
