PS Plus September 2021 Games Include Hitman 2, According To Leak

A new leak claims the PlayStation Plus September 2021 lineup will be headlined by Hitman 2 and Overcooked: All You Can Eat. Leaked PS Plus details have become a regular occurrence in recent months. Notably, A Plague Tale: Innocence’s arrival on the service made the rounds before Sony announced the news. And the company itself shared the official list of August 2021’s free titles ahead of the planned reveal date.

Most months this year have seen Sony roll out a strong lineup of freebies. In January, PS Plus subscribers were treated to heavy-hitters such as Maneater, GreedFall, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. February boasted an impressive batch of games as well, with Control: Ultimate Edition on PlayStation 5 headlining the batch of offers. Final Fantasy VII Remake on PS4 led the charge for the month of March, further bolstered by Remnant: From the Ashes, Farpoint, and Maquette. Should the latest PS Plus-related leak prove accurate, members are in for yet another treat come September.

French publication Dealabs has previously shared accurate information about future PlayStation Plus content. As reported by Push Square, the French website managed to catch wind of what will supposedly constitute the September 2021 freebies. Dealabs claims Hitman 2 and Predator: Hunting Grounds will serve as next month’s PS4 offerings, while PS5 owners can additionally look forward to Overcooked: All You Can Eat – a collection that includes Overcooked, Overcooked 2, and every helping of post-launch content for both.

PS Plus September 2021 Games Include Hitman 2, According To Leak

If Dealabs is correct, PS Plus subscribers will soon have quite the variety of games to explore. Hitman 2 remains the cream of the crop when it comes to stealth titles in recent memory, as Agent 47’s assassination-heavy escapades take him on a globetrotting adventure. Predator: Hunting Grounds, on the other hand, drops players into a licensed multiplayer shooter built by Friday: The 13th The Game developer IllFonic. Overcooked and its sequel provides a couch co-op experience like no other, allowing users to squad up for a fast-paced cooking game.

Since these details remain uncorroborated, fans should not get too excited about the supposed freebies just yet. But, as Push Square noted, Sony will likely reveal PlayStation Plus‘ September 2021 lineup in the coming days on September 1.

Hitman 2 is available to play now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
