The inaugural season of Prison Brides recently premiered on Lifetime with seven couples, including Erin and Michael. The series follows seven women from around the world as they journey to the United States to meet and marry the American federal prisoners they’ve fallen in love with. Michael Is Back In Jail
When Michael met Erin, he was in the middle of serving a nine-year prison sentence for robbery charges. Now, he’s being accused of domestic violence, menacing by stalking, and disorderly conduct, which he denies. These are misdemeanors, not felonies, but are still very serious crimes. The name of the victim has not been made public. However, the alleged victim is said to have been in a three-year relationship with Michael and was living with him at the time, which sounds like it could potentially be Erin.
Michael And Erin’s Journey
Erin is a single mom from Australia who left behind her young daughter to move to Ohio to pursue a relationship with Michael. She faced the concern and judgment of her friends and family, but she still risked everything to be with the man she loves. Michael was incarcerated for armed robbery and has spent most of his adult life in jail. During the first episode, he buys Erin an engagement ring, with the help of her friend, and intends to propose the moment he is out of prison.

Whether or not Erin is the victim named in Michael’s latest criminal charges, she should pack her things and head home to her daughter in Australia as soon as possible. During the first episode of Prison Brides, Michael repeatedly loses his temper with Erin, clearly showing his red flags; plus Michael has no intention of walking the straight and narrow. Even if he did turn away from a life of crime, his anger issues would still be a problem.
