What Loadouts Should Fireteam Players Use in Predator: Hunting Grounds

Building a loadout for the Fireteam players is a matter of preference. Certain players will prefer certain weapons over others and suggesting one gun for every player to use is simply not good advice. However, there is some overarching loadout developing theory that can guide players to mold their Fireteam character to the optimal Predator killing machine.

There are three things to consider when developing a loadout. The first is what weapon will allow a player to fight between mid and long-range fights. Fighting the Predator or any given AI will generally take place in the mid-range forcing players to choose a weapon that satisfies this requirement. So choose your favorite assault rifle or sniper rifle that way you can challenge the long-range assaults of a given threat.

Secondly, a successful Fireteam squad member needs a reliable close-range weapon. Predator players sometimes choose a more close-range style when taking out Fireteam players so being able to deal with this reality is a must. Solid weapon choices to fulfill this niche are a player’s favorite shotgun or sub-machine gun. However, if you prefer assault rifles to fulfill this niche than certainly use a powerful rifle to do so. Just always have a weapon that can fend off an aggressive Predator player.

Finally, they always have powerful equipment to deal with large groups of enemies. As you escape the Hunting Grounds in the provided Helicopter both the Predator and a swarm of AI soldiers will attack you. To focus on the threat of the Predator keep explosive equipment on hand to defeat the waves of enemies attacking you. That way, the climactic scuffle is less difficult and a team’s focus can be placed on the Predator player.
