Power Girl’s Badass New Ride Cements Her Status as the Superman Family Rebel

Power Girl is coming for Superboy’s title as the resident Superman Family rebel with a badass new ride that screams rebellion. However, Paige Stetler isn’t riding alone, tagging along is Lobo’s daughter Crush for what will no doubt be a chaotically heroic adventure as the two heroines find themselves battling Brainiac’s unleashed horde of Czarnians.

Power Girl #10 by Leah Williams, Eduardo Pansica, and Júlio Ferreira presents Paige and Crush at the peak of their crossover, as the two heroines join forces to confront Brainiac and the crazed Czarnians in DC’s House of Brainiac arc.

Break out! Power Girl joins the Holliday Girls in this action-packed “House of Brainiac” tie-in! Goblin and his goons may have the neighborhood, but they’ll never break the spirit of our local hero and her new allies. With the biker gangs brawling, it’s now up to Crush and Paige to shut the Czarnians down for good. Can the power of brains, brawn, and beauty prevail?

Judging from Yanick Paquette and Arif Prianto’s cover for the comic, it appears the duo will make a stylish entrance into battle with an ostentatious motorcycle radiating rebellion and badassery. While the origins of their new ride remain to be revealed, one thing is certain: Lobo, a connoisseur of extraterrestrial hogs, will undoubtedly approve of their upgraded transport.

Power Girl and Lobo’s Daughter Ride-In on Massive Dragon-Themed Motorcycle

Power Girl #9 wearing a Lobo inspired costume that features the superman creat

Yanick Paquette and Arif Prianto’s cover showcases Power Girl and Crush tearing down a street on a monstrous motorcycle, with Paige driving and Crush riding as a pillion. The bike features an overwhelming dragon theme, with the front resembling a dragon head actively breathing fire. The handlebars also follow suit with the theme, resembling dragon wings. This motorcycle exudes rebellion, especially when paired with Paige’s new cut-off leather Superman biker jacket featured on the cover of Power Girl #9. The jacket pays homage to Lobo’s famous “Bite Me Fanboy” jacket that both he and Crush have sported on previous covers.

While the origins of the bike remain unclear, its wild appearance suggests that it may be of Czarnian origin. With Brainiac’s release of the once-thought-extinct Czarnians (excluding Lobo and his daughter), it is highly probable that the girls could have acquired a genuine Czarnian bike. Moreover, it is plausible that the two girls liberated the bikes from the hostile Czarnians, especially considering the synopsis for Power Girl #9, which reveals that Crush is a hostage among her own people. Paired with the cover of issue #10, this could imply that the motorcycle serves as their getaway vehicle.

Power Girl and Crush Kick-Off DC’s Next Kryptonian and Czarnian Team-Up in House of Brainiac Arc

Power Girl #8 cover featuring Power Girl and Crush

House of Brainiac will feature Superman and Lobo teaming up and facing off against each other in the story arc. However, this isn’t the first time the two have fought or worked together. Nevertheless, it is the first time that Lobo’s daughter and Superman’s Earth-Two cousin have collaborated, marking an exciting new team-up. It will be intriguing to see the trouble Power Girl and Crush get into together and how their team dynamic will differ from that of Lobo’s and Superman’s, for better or for worse.

Power Girl #10 will be released on June 25, 2024, from DC Comics!
