Pokémon Legends: Arceus – How To Evolve Mantyke Into Mantine

<

In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Mantyke evolves into Mantine when a Remoraid is added into its party. Trainers can encounter Mantyke within the bay of Cobalt Coastlands, particularly in the waters between Gingko Landing and Tranquility Cove. To traverse through water, players will need Basculegion, a Water and Ghost-Type Big Fish Pokémon Trainers can ride.

To get the Basculegion Mount in Arceus players must unlock the tenth mission of the main storyline, “The Lordless Island.” After fighting a Trainer battle and traveling to several locations, players are tasked with capturing Dusclops and bringing it back to Warden Iscan. Once this assignment is complete, players can summon Basculegion as a Ride Pokémon.

How to Catch Mantyke in Arceus

Swim out to Tranquility Cove on Basculegion and catch Mantyke on the way. The best way to catch Mantyke, and all of Arceus’ Pokémon in the water, is by jumping into the air and holding the throw button to slow down time. This makes it much eaiser to aim and cast one of Arceus’ Poké Balls. Once players capture Mantyke, the next step is catching Remoraid. By placing Remoraid in the party with Mantyke, the Mantyke will be able to evolve into Mantine.

Fortunately, Trainers can encounter Remoraid within the same area as Mantyke. From the location where they found Mantyke, Trainers can head out slightly further in Cobalt Coastlands’ Tranquility Cove to locate Remoraid. Using the same throwing method mentioned above, players can catch Remoraid and place it into their party to evolve their Mantyke into Mantine.

Mantine shares the same qualities as Mantyke, including identical Dual-Type characteristics and Moveset. The main difference between Mantine and Mantyke is the stat improvements that the evolution provides. When compared with Mantyke, Mantine features the following stat changes:

Additionally, by using Nature Mints in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Trainers can change Mantine’s Nature to maximize the development of its best or worst stats. Keep in mind that, as Water and Flying-Type Pokémon, Mantine is much more vulnerable to Electric-Types Moves from Pokémon such as Jolteon, Electivire, or Thundurus. For the best effectiveness in battle, it is advised players pit Mantyke’s evolution Mantine against Dragon-Type Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

    Summary:
Pokemon Legends: Arceus is set in the distant past as part of the Diamond and Pearl continuity; players are sent back in time after hearing from the creator of Pokemon, Arceus. Now in the Hsui region, known as Sinnoh in the future, the player meets with Professor Laventon, who assists them in getting settled in at Jubilife Village as they try to acclimate to their strange new life in the age of Pokemon centuries past. Arceus marks a significant departure in the Pokemon franchise, as players will engage more in battle with their Pokemon – trainers can even be attacked by wild Pokemon. Instead of instanced battles, players fight directly on the field, encountering them in the big open world, sharing many exploration similarities to games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
