Pokémon Legends: Arceus – All Shop-Expansion Requests (& Where To Find Them)

Pokémon Legends: Arceus – All Shop-Expansion Requests (& Where To Find Them)

Pokémon Legends: Arceus players have to be well-equipped for their excursions into the Hisuian wilderness, and the shops in Jubilife Village offer all the necessary items they’ll need to bring on their journey. However, while every shop in the game starts with a relatively limited inventory, players can quickly expand the selection of each shop by completing Requests for the shops’ owners. By working through these Request chains, players can unlock new goods, clothes, and hairstyles for their character throughout the game.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus’ Requests are optional side quests that players can accept from the NPCs they meet throughout Hisui. Most Requests can be found in Jubilife Village, though trainers will come across several NPCs on their excursions that have additional tasks for them to pick up. Requests typically offer useful rewards like Poké Balls or crafting materials, and some Requests also offer hidden rewards that Pokémon Legends: Arceus doesn’t explicitly share with the player, making them well worth the effort as players adventure through Hisui on their quest to seek out all Pokémon.

Shop-expansion Requests typically become available as players progress through the story of Pokémon Legends: Arceus, and a “New Request” icon will appear at each shop on the map when another Request is unlocked. If a certain Request hasn’t appeared, it’s likely that the player needs to accept a main Story Mission or increase their Star Rank before it’s unlocked. The more Requests trainers complete, the more Jubilife Village will transform into a sanctuary where people and Pokémon live and work together.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus – How To Expand The General Store

Pokémon Legends: Arceus – All Shop-Expansion Requests (& Where To Find Them)

The General Store in the center of Jubilife Village sells all kinds of useful items for players’ excursions in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, including Poké Balls, Potions, Revives, and more. However, the Supply Corps captain, Tao Hua, seems to hold a grudge against Choy, the owner of the General Store, and often refuses to supply him with the goods he needs. Players can mediate for the two by bringing Tao Hua the materials he asks for and completing the shop-expansion Requests. Choy will always be at his shop when new Requests become available, and Tao Hua can be found in the basement of Galaxy HQ just across the road.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus – All Clothier Request Upgrades

Trainers can unlock new outfits by completing Requests for the Clothier in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus offers a ton of character customization options, and the Clothier in Jubilife Village has the biggest inventory of any shop in the game. Players can unlock new outfits, color options, and patterns by completing Requests for the shop owner, Anthe, but there are plenty of other ways to expand the Clothier’s inventory as well. As players complete Pokédex entries, obtain Ride Pokémon, defeat Noble Pokémon, and increase their Star Rank, Anthe will add new clothing options to her store, so players should check back often as Pokémon Legends: Arceus won’t notify them about new clothes until they speak with Anthe again. Each of Anthe’s Requests will unlock new patterns for the Kimonos and Bottoms available in the shop, and the final Request will unlock new color options and patterns for every type of clothing Anthe sells.

  • Request 24 – Inspiration from Hippopotas: Catch a male and female Hippopotas and show them to Anthe. Available after accepting “Azeru’s Predicament.”
  • Request 45 – Shellos of the East and West: Catch both forms of Shellos and show them to Anthe. Available after accepting “A New Mission.”
  • Request 62 – Fancy, Fashionable Wormadam: Catch or evolve any form of Wormadam and show it to Anthe. Available after accepting “Scaling Perilous Heights.”
  • Request 70 – Colorful New Looks: Give Anthe a Red Shard, Blue Shard, and Green Shard. Available after accepting “The Slumbering Lord of the Tundra.”

The Clothier is the only shop in Pokémon Legends: Arceus that can be expanded after completing the Request chain associated with it, and players can unlock hidden clothing options by completing other Requests throughout Hisui. While the Requests themselves don’t mention the clothing items they unlock, Anthe will mention that she has expanded her selection the next time they speak with her after completing the Request. In addition to the Fancy Kimonos that players can earn by defeating Nobles and obtaining Ride Pokémon, Anthe stocks special Pokémon Kimonos, Hats, and Bottoms that players can unlock by completing specific Requests unrelated to the shop. These Pokémon Sets are based on Pokémon Types rather than specific Pokémon, and players don’t have to complete the Requests in any specific order in order to unlock them.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus players will have access to several default hairstyles after they unlock the Hairdresser in Jubilife Village. However, once the Warden Azeru becomes the hairdresser, players will be able to complete Requests for her to unlock even more hairstyles. The “Azeru’s Predicament” Story Mission must be complete before she comes to town, but some new hairstyles and color options will be available as soon as she does, and she’ll start offering Requests as players head for the Coronet Highlands area of Hisui.
