What does the cast of Pitch Perfect look like now and which notable movies have they starred in since? The first film in Universal Pictures’ Pitch Perfect movie trilogy is set to celebrate its tenth anniversary in 2022. The original movie is loosely based on journalist Mickey Rapkin’s non-fiction book Pitch Perfect: The Quest For Collegiate A Cappella Glory and follows freshman Beca Mitchell (Anna Kendrick) as she joins her university’s all-female singing group the Barden Bellas and helps lead them to national victory.
The musical comedy has spawned two sequels to date: Pitch Perfect 2, which came out in 2015 and saw the Barden Bellas compete in an international a cappella championship and 2017’s Pitch Perfect 3 which followed the graduated Bellas as they reunited for an overseas USO tour. A Pitch Perfect TV series is also in the works which will feature Adam DeVine and Flula Borg reprising their roles from the movie series, plus a whole host of new cast members including Sarah Hyland and Jameela Jamil.

Anna Kendrick – Beca Mitchell
Anna Kendrick topped the cast of Pitch Perfect as aspiring music producer and Barden University freshman Beca Mitchell. Kendrick reprised her role in the two Pitch Perfect sequels and has also appeared in fellow movie musicals like 2o14’s Into The Woods and the Trolls franchise, alongside starring opposite Blake Lively in the hit black comedy A Simple Favor.
Anna Camp – Aubrey Posen
Played by True Blood star Anna Camp, Aubrey Posen is the uptight Type-A co-leader of the Barden Bellas in the first Pitch Perfect movie. Since 2012, Camp has nabbed minor parts in films like Café Society and The Most Hated Woman In America alongside bigger roles in the comedies Egg and Desperados.
Rebel Wilson – Patricia Hobart
Playing hilarious Barden Bella member Patricia “Fat Amy” in Pitch Perfect was one of Australian actress Rebel Wilson’s first big Hollywood roles. She’s starred in plenty more comedy films since including How To Be Single, The Hustle and Jojo Rabbit and played Jennyanydots in the musical movie flop Cats. Her next film is the upcoming Netflix comedy Senior Year.
Skylar Astin – Jesse Swanson
Skylar Astin’s Pitch Perfect character Jesse Swanson is Beca’s love interest and a member of the Barden Bellas’ all-male rival a cappella group the Barden Treblemakers. Astin is best known for playing Max Richman in Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist but has also had roles in movies 21 & Over and Ghosts Of War.
Brittany Snow – Chloe Beale
Brittany Snow rounded out the main cast of Pitch Perfect as the Barden Bellas co-leader Chloe Beale. She played Chloe again in the Pitch Perfect sequels and has also starred in films like Bushwick and Someone Great. Most recently, she played Bobby-Lynne in 2022 slasher horror X.
