Peter Works At Stop N’ Shop In New Family Guy Clip [EXCLUSIVE]

Family Guy season 22 premiered October 1, continuing the series’ reign as one of the longest-running animated shows of all time. Created by Seth MacFarlane, Family Guy first premiered in 1999 and ran for a few years before being canceled after season 3. Luckily for dedicated viewers, the series was revived in 2005 and hasn’t slowed down since.

The main Family Guy voice cast, which includes MacFarlane, Alex Borstein, Mila Kunis, and Seth Green, have returned for season 22, as has the show’s trademark humor. Screen Rant is excited to premiere a clip from Family Guy season 22 episode 2, titled “Lois Finds Peter Working at the Supermarket”. Enjoy a sneak peek at the new episode, which airs on Fox October 8th, below:

More About Family Guy Season 22

Peter Works At Stop N’ Shop In New Family Guy Clip [EXCLUSIVE]

As seen in the clip above, Family Guy’s love for cutaway gags in season 22 is as strong as ever. Family Guy continues to be in touch with the specific brand of humor that made it a Sunday night staple in the first place, with the clip probing that Peter is the same lovable oaf that made him a pop culture staple in 1999. Though Lois is often hilarious in her own right, she continues to be the perfect foil for her husband’s antics.

As much as it is the same as ever, Family Guy season 22 is clearly having fun with life changes for its core cast of characters. The first episode saw a pregnant Meg getting cravings, and episode 2 sees Peter getting a new job. Other storylines slated for the season include Peter and Lois taking a vacation to Florida, Stewie and Brian working to get over their mutual fear of showers, and Lois joining Chris’ school as a substitute teacher. With 20 more episodes on the way after the one teased above airs, it will be exciting to see what Family Guy gets up to next.

Family Guy season 22 continues October 8th on Fox.
