This year marks the 70th anniversary of the release of one of The Walt Disney Company’s most popular films of all time, Peter Pan. To celebrate the film, Loungefly and Disney are teaming up for a new line featuring Peter, Tinker Bell, and their friends. This collection will be available on the Loungefly website in February, but fans will notice that some of the items are limited editions and may require a little extra fairy magic to obtain.
Loungefly was founded in 1998, and with their 2017 purchase by Funko, they’ve been able to feed an ever-expanding customer fanbase with exciting new products ranging from highly sought-after backpacks, wallets, totes, and cross-body bags, and small accessories like keychains, bag straps, and lanyards. In the summer of 2020, they introduced a new line, Stitch Shoppe by Loungefly, the first high-end apparel line from the brand that features meticulously designed clothing and promotes body positivity. These new products, which star the characters from Peter Pan, will add to the brand’s most popular partnership with the Disney company. Marvel and Lucasfilm properties are included in the collection, and new items drop every month.

The bag itself features the baby pink wallpaper from the Darling children’s nursery, and Wendy, John, and Michael are about to get their first flying lesson from Peter, with the unwilling help of Tinker Bell. Her golden pixie dust adorns each side, while Michael sprinkles some dust on Nana on the back. The all-over print on the inside lining spotlights the 70th anniversary of the film, along with a silhouette of Peter and the Darling children as they fly across the London skyline.
