Peter & Hannah Ann Should Be Cast in Bachelor in Paradise

Peter & Hannah Ann Should Be Cast in Bachelor in Paradise

Peter Weber is not ready to enter into a relationship – or even date casually – at the moment, but what about when Bachelor in Paradise rolls around? It would be incredible television if Peter and Hannah Ann were somehow convinced to both be a part of next season.

Hannah Ann was the winner of The Bachelor, not because Peter chose her but because she came out of a rough finale looking the best. Peter was grilled, Barb went off the rails, Chris Harrison lied to Madison about Peter’s reasoning for breaking up with Hannah Ann and Madison wasn’t able to tell Chris to fly back to California without her and move on (though, it should be noted, she and Peter have since reversed course). Meanwhile, Hannah Ann confidently told Peter off when he was breaking up with her and during the live show. In an affront to her own son, Barb applauded as Hannah Ann called Peter out for lying to her and questioned his manhood. It was a performance that would have warranted consideration for The Bachelorette had we seen this level of personality from Hannah Ann sooner.

Fortunately, we can see Hannah Ann again. If Bachelor in Paradise can pull off getting Peter and Hannah Ann to join the upcoming season’s cast, it would lead to some intense fireworks. It seems next to impossible that this would happen, though. Peter has almost no chance of redemption by coming onto Bachelor in Paradise, especially if he senses Hannah Ann will be back as well. Hannah Ann is likely fine to ride off into the sunset and find her partner the conventional way.

Peter & Hannah Ann Should Be Cast in Bachelor in Paradise

But then again, there have been several instances in which Bachelor In Paradise contestants seemingly have nothing to gain by being on the show and yet fly to Mexico anyways to ruin their reputation. That would almost certainly happen with Peter, though he might feel like his stock couldn’t possibly sink any lower. Hannah Ann ended her journey on The Bachelor on a high note. She doesn’t need to be on the same show as Peter again.

As we saw during the finale, Chris Harrison and The Bachelor don’t care about two people falling in love. They care about the entertainment value. Bachelor in Paradise capitalizes on this thirst for drama by mixing together as many toxic relationships as possible. Without Coachella to stir the messy cocktail of deceit before it is served up to the audience this year, producers will need to work extra hard to find a cast that can live up to the fighting, cheating and overall tomfoolery of the past seasons. If Peter and Hannah Ann agreed to be on the season, it would be one of the greatest gets. It would also be a bad decision from both Peter and Hannah Ann.
