Pauly D & Vinny Guadagnino Will Return For ‘Revenge Prank’ Season 2

Jerzdays” are about to get even better in the new year when Jersey Shore stars Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio and Vinny Guadagnino return for Revenge Prank season two. The dynamic guido duo will once again help victims of mean-spirited pranks get revenge on the original prankster. Whether it’s a parent, spouse, child, or friend, no one is safe from the over-the-top antics of Pauly and Vinny.

Revenge Prank premiered on MTV on June 25 and ran through September, airing directly after the guys’ other spinoff Double Shot At Love. Each episode saw Pauly and/or Vinny aid the subject of a cringe-worthy viral prank in getting even. This concept was right up the alley of Pauly, a self-dubbed “Prank War Champion” known for constantly playing tricks on his Jersey Shore roomies. But even the more reserved Vinny got in on the action as he pretended to be a corpse at a fake funeral and, on another episode, portrayed a cult leader named “Sun.”

On January 7, a fresh round of unsuspecting pranksters will be targeted by Pauly and Vinny. As reported by E! News, the upcoming episodes are slated to show some of the funniest and most outlandish gags to date. In a special preview clip, fans see a dumbbell being tossed into a mirror, multiple people spitting out colorful goo, and an underwear-clad group posing for photos on a winter-themed set. Vinny is shown exclaiming, “It’s about to go down!” while the narrator asks, “What if Pauly and Vinny pranked the sh*t out of you?

It seems that the next batch of Revenge Prank episodes will follow identically to what viewers fell in love with over the summer. Pauly and Vinny have an initial meeting with the revenge prankster to learn more about their soon-to-be victim. From there, they install a handful of hidden cameras at the prank location to capture every hilarious moment. Comedic actors are hired to pull off the skit and, sometimes, family members are recruited to make the ridiculous scenario seem more legit. As the prank unfolds, Pauly and Vinny are situated in a hidden control room, guiding the actors and cracking up at their own pranking genius.

At the end of the prank (or when the subject is on the verge of fighting someone), Pauly and Vinny come out of hiding to inform the person they’re on an MTV show. Their daughter isn’t pregnant, their brand new car wasn’t in a crash, and their husband didn’t die in a skydiving accident with a hungover instructor. Their viral prank simply went too far, and it was time for the ultimate revenge.

Revenge Prank returns on Thursday, January 7 at 9 pm ET on MTV.
