Oxenfree 2 Antagonists Are Breaking Into The First Game

The antagonists of Oxenfree II: Lost Signals, Signals, recently began breaking into the original Oxenfree on PC. Developer Night School Studio released the first entry in early 2016 on consoles and PC, offering players a supernatural mystery presented in a lavish art style. The developer announced a sequel several months ago during Nintendo’s Indie World Showcase.Lost Signals seemingly bears little to no direct connection to its award-winning predecessor, with a new protagonist named Riley stepping into the spotlight. Oxenfree’s mysterious Edwards Island won’t make a comeback for the sequel either, Night School teased in the reveal trailer. Instead, Lost Signals‘ primary setting takes place on an island named Camena. Though the studio unveiled a PlayStation launch announcement trailer last month, no other noteworthy details about the experience itself have made the rounds. Thus, what Oxenfree II entails presently remains vague at best. But now there’s a bit of the sequel bleeding into the original title’s core game.Related: Oxenfree 2: Lost Signals Is Coming To PlayStation 4 & 5 [UPDATED]As noted by Eurogamer, developer Night School recently took to Twitter to announce that the sequel’s antagonists, Signals, have invaded the first Oxenfree game via radio waves.
