Original Hunger Games Author Reviews Ballad Of Songbirds & Snakes In Lengthy Post

Suzanne Collins, author of The Hunger Games series, has posted a lengthy review for the upcoming film adaptation of The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. Based on her 2020 novel of the same name, the movie follows a young Coriolanus Snow, who becomes a mentor for the Games. The film will document how he becomes the ruthless President of Panem in the books as he prepares District 12’s Lucy Gray Baird for the deadly contest.

Now, Suzanne Collins has taken to Twitter, posting a lengthy review of the upcoming Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes.

In her above review, the author praises the film for condensing her 517-paged book into a single film. She also praises the cast and crew, whom she is delighted will be able to promote the film following an interim agreement with SAG-AFTRA. Collins ends her review reflecting on the franchise’s history, thanking fans for their continued support.
