With Deadpool 3 wrapping filming recently, Fantastic Four star Michael Chiklis now sets the record straight on whether he is reprising the role of Ben Grimm aka The Thing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
With the Deadpool 3 story being kept under wraps for the most part, there has been speculation about whether they are paying homage to the past Fox Marvel movies. As a supposed set photo surfaced of Chiklis filming on Deadpool 3, he took to X (formerly Twitter) to address the situation.
Despite it looking like him in a bodysuit as The Thing next to Deadpool, Chiklis stressed that “This is a FAKE. Sorry to disappoint.” The Fantastic Four veteran also added, “I do know who they’re casting though. Not my place to tell but I will say this. I’m a fan of his work and I wish him luck and success with it,” teasing the new MCU movie.
