HBO Max has unveiled a new trailer for its highly anticipated series Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin. Serving as the fourth installment in the Pretty Little Liars franchise, Original Sin comes after the conclusion of the original show in 2017 and its subsequent spinoffs, Ravenswood and Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists. Developed by Robert Aguirre-Sacasa and Lindsay Calhoon Bring, the new series focuses on a fresh cast of characters in the town of Millwood, where a mysterious figure known as A begins to target a group of girls for the sins committed by their parents two decades ago.
Now, the latest trailer from HBO Max seems to provide a generous dose of nostalgia for fans of Pretty Little Liars. Teasing the same eerie atmosphere that captivated viewers of the original series, the horror of Original Sin begins with a death at a school dance. Stalked and terrorized by an unknown assailant, a group of friends is forced to search for answers, even if it means investigating the dark pasts of their own parents. Check out the trailer below:

Among the stars of the new series are Chandler Kinney (Zombies), Bailee Madison (Good Witch), Maia Reficco (Kally’s Mashup), Zaria (Black-ish), and Malia Pyles (Baskets). Other castmates include Mallory Bechtel, Elena Goode, Sharon Leal, Eric Johnson, Lea Salonga and Alex Aiono. Premiering the first three of its ten episodes on July 28, Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin should see its finale debut less than a month later on August 18.
