Ocean’s 14 Gets Surprising Update From George Clooney (With One Caveat)

Ocean’s Fourteen, the prospective fourth film in the Ocean’s Eleven franchise, gets a cryptic update from star George Clooney. Serving as a remake of the 1960 film of the same name, the 2001 heist comedy sees Clooney starring as suave thief Danny Ocean, with a supporting cast that includes Brad Pitt and Matt Damon. The film, which is directed by Steven Soderbergh, was a hit, leading to two sequels, the last of which, Ocean’s Thirteen, was released in 2007.

Now, with Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie’s Ocean’s Eleven prequel on the horizon, Clooney teases to Uproxx that his time as Danny Ocean may not be over just yet. While careful not to reveal too many details, the actor reveals that another Ocean’s movie with the original cast isn’t off the table. Check out Clooney’s full comment below:

George Clooney: We have a really good script for another Oceans now, so we may end up doing another one. It’s actually a great script.

Uproxx: Wait, really? Like, Oceans 14?

George Clooney: Well … I don’t want to call it that… I mean, the idea is kind of like Going In Style.

More to come…
