“No Gun, No Problem”: The Equalizer 3 Trailer Teases Denzel Washington’s Improvised Weapons

A new promo for Antoine Fuqua’s The Equalizer 3 teases Denzel Washington getting creative with his choice of weapons. Loosely based on the 1980s CBS series, the popular vigilante flicks follow Robert McCall, a retired United States Marine who helps protect and avenge the oppressed. Over the last few years, The Equalizer franchise has produced a couple of the most lauded and successful action films, with star Denzel Washington, in particular, providing show-stopping performances. The franchise is set to come to an end with the third part which is set to hit theaters soon.

Sony Pictures recently put out a new promo clip for The Equalizer 3. Check out the video below:

In the short teaser, Washington’s McCall can be seen getting creative as he takes on his foes, with the video accompanied by the tagline, “No gun. No problem.” In absence of a gun, McCall fights antagonists with a wine bottle, a poker and simply his hands.

Denzel Washington returns as Robert McCall in The Equalizer 3 for one last time, as he looks to put on another thrilling and masterful performance like he’s done in the past. In terms of what to expect, a recent Equalizer 3 trailer teased the retired Marine officer doing what he does best: beating up bad guys. But this time, he’s in Italy, protecting friends and fighting off local crime lords.

The Equalizer 3 is set to be released in theaters on September 1, 2023. With regard to the cast, there hasn’t been any indication of a recurring role outside of Washington. However, these actors have been confirmed: Dakota Fanning, David Denman, Sonia Ammar, Andrea Dodero, Gaia Scodellaro, Andrea Scarduzio, Remo Girone, Eugenio Mastrandea, and Daniele Perrone.

Seeing as this is the final part, film director Antoine Fuqua and Denzel Washington will definitely be looking to go out with a bang. The Equalizer 3 trailer and synopsis have teased the same thrill, suspense and action that made millions around the world fall in love with the franchise. And why not; it only makes sense to stick to a working formula. Anticipation for the concluding part of this trilogy has hit a fever pitch, but thankfully, the release date is near and soon audiences will be able to watch Washington dazzle as McCall one last time.
