Nightwing’s Teen Titans Are All Grown Up in Perfect Team Art

Spoilers for Nightwing #100 by DC Comics

The Teen Titans have been fighting alongside one another for some time, and in new DC Comics art, the superteam is all grown up as heroes in the DC Universe. In new variant cover art for the upcoming Nightwing #100, Dick Grayson, Starfire, Raven, Cyborg, The Flash, Wonder Girl, and Beast Boy reunite as the former team reunites in the stunning new image from Travis Moore.

The Teen Titans are one of DC’s most recognizable superteams, as the group of young heroes has had many iterations working together as a team since their first appearance in The Brave and the Bold #54 back in 1964. The original roster featured the likes of Wally West’s Kid Flash, Dick Grayson’s Robin, Aqualad, and Wonder Girl, later joined by more prominent faces in the DC Universe. However, the most recognizable version of the team formed in George Perez and Marv Wolfman’s “The New Teen Titans” run, which saw the introduction of Nightwing, Raven, Starfire, Cyborg, and Beast Boy to the team – who have since been core members of most iterations of the team. And in great new DC Comics art, the New Teen Titans are all grown up.

This week, DC Comics revealed a new celebration of Nightwing #100, releasing several stunning new covers for the hero’s landmark issue. Among the variant cover art shown is one featuring Nightwing reuniting with the Teen Titans, as the gorgeous Travis Moore image includes Dick Grayson with Beast Boy, The Flash, Cyborg, Raven, Starfire, and Wonder Girl. The group takes a selfie that features the former teen superteam all grown up.

The Stunning Teen Titans Art Reunites The New Teen Titans

Nightwing’s Teen Titans Are All Grown Up in Perfect Team Art

While “The New Teen Titans” seen in the DC Comics art have previously reunited as adults in the Teen Titans Academy series, seeing the group together again is refreshing. Despite the different directions each hero went in the DCU, their friendship remains strong. There’s something special about the particular group of Teen Titans, so seeing them evolve and grow up while still being close is a ton of fun.

The variant cover art from Travis Moore will have readers wishing the superteam will return together for a new Titans book featuring the particular iteration of the team as adults. But, for now, readers can be happy knowing the group, all grown up and still as friendly with one another as before, will reunite once again in Nightwing #100 and on the stunning variant for the issue featuring the Teen Titans.
