The Karate Kid remake casts its lead role after a lengthy search. Originally released in 1984, The Karate Kid tells the story of a martial arts master who teaches a teenager the art of karate. The film has been remade in several different ways, and will soon be adapted into another film starring Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Karate Kid remake has found a new star. This star will be American Born Chinese actor Ben Wang.
