Although it is pretty unorthodox for an anime to feature not one but two musicians from the West, this is simply a testament to the growing popularity of the medium around the world. It also isn’t the first time, as Avril Lavigne has worked on the One Piece Film: Z at the behest of Oda, who is a huge fan. However, they aren’t the only talented staff working on the series, as Production I.G has brought on heavy hitters from the industry to do right by one of the most popular manga of our time.
Staff | Role | Previous Projects |
---|---|---|
Production I.G | Animating Studio | Haikyu!!, Attack On Titan |
Shigeyuki Miya | Director | Ghost In The Shell, Vinland Saga |

The voice actors are equally accomplished and talented, and the trailer shows just that. The sheer amount of resources and marketing being put into this series is more than enough to excite fans for what is about to come, as Kaiju No. 8 shapes up to be one of the biggest anime seen in recent years.
