Society of the Snow has earned itself a position in Netflix’s top 10 non-English language movies list of all time after less than two weeks. Directed by J.A. Bayona, the new survival thriller chronicles a real-life plane crash that occurred in the Andes mountains in 1972. Society of the Snow, which is in Spanish, made quite a splash upon its release on December 13, with critics and audiences alike praising the brutal and harrowing story.
Now, Society of the Snow is officially in Netflix’s top 10 non-English language movies list of all time.
The film, which currently occupies the #10 spot, managed to achieve the feat in only 11 days, clocking an impressive 28.1 million views.
