The previously announced drama is based on Julia Quinn’s novel series of the same name, which takes place during the Regency era of London. The Bridgerton trailer for the television adaptation was posted earlier today to the official Netflix YouTube channel. The teaser shows that the period piece will center around the mysterious character Lady Whistledown, who publishes a series of pamphlets exposing the secrets of London’s elite.
