A new month means a new wave of content coming to Netflix, which includes the return of a famous Swedish detective, a psychological horror TV series based on a sinister nurse, a new take on the Holmes family, and a psychological thriller with a star-studded cast. As theaters around the world prepare to reopen amidst the coronavirus pandemic, many studios will keep on sticking to streaming services to house their newest titles, while many viewers prefer to continue getting their fix of movies at home. Luckily for Netflix users, the streaming giant has a lot of exciting content coming this month, both original and licensed.
August welcomed movies like A Knight’s Tale, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, the first three entries in the Jurassic Park franchise, Nightcrawler, Les Misérables, Casino Royale, and Quantum of Solace. Netflix also treated its users to new TV shows and movies as well as new seasons of fan-favorite series, such as Wizards: Tales of Arcadia, Project Power, Biohackers, season 3 of The Rain, season 5 of Lucifer, and the documentaries World’s Most Wanted, (Un)Well, and High Score. This month, the platform will add movies like Grease, Not Another Teen Movie, the Back to the Future trilogy, and all seasons of the 1990s sitcom Sister Sister.
As for original content, Netflix will bring a variety of TV shows and movies, such as a sci-fi drama TV series starring Hilary Swank, the young years of detective Kurt Wallander, a psychological horror series starring Sarah Paulson (and it’s not American Horror Story), and a psychological thriller with a lot of familiar faces. Here’s everything releasing on Netflix in September 2020.
