Anyone who has watched a crime procedural knows that episodes where main characters are the suspects tend to be the most exciting ones of all, so it is fitting that NCIS season 19 has taken that on for its finale story. The series has already adopted this kind of storyline in the past; for example, Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) had to take charge during one season 3 episode when he was the primary suspect for a case.
