The first clip from Napoleon has been released, revealing a large-scale battle in the Ridley Scott-directed feature film. Starring Joaquin Phoenix as the titular character, the movie explores the life of France’s Emperor and his conquest of Europe. This includes multiple battle sequences that highlight the scale of his many military operations.
Now, Fandango has released a first look at the upcoming Napoleon movie, teasing the massive scale of one of its major battles.
The clip shows the conqueror tricking his enemies into walking on a frozen lake before ordering his men to fire cannons at them. As his opponents flee, many of them fall through the crumbling ice into the freezing water below.
