My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission Clip Shows Intense Todoroki Battle

A new clip from My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission offers a look at the new film for those who haven’t made it to theaters yet. The animated superhero movie is part of the My Hero Academia franchise, which includes an anime series and movies based on the manga of the same name. World Heroes’ Mission is the third animated film, following My Hero Academia: Two Heroes in 2017 and My Hero Academia: Two Heroes in 2019

Funimation, the company distributing World Heroes’ Mission, has now shared a new clip from the movie. In the clip, 1-A student/master of the elements, Shoto Todoroki, faces off with Leviathan, an underling of Flect Turn, the film’s main villain. World Heroes’ Mission recently premiered stateside on October 29 after debuting in Japan on August 6. The movie is currently being screened in a limited theatrical release for those who want to catch it now. The first two films are currently available on Amazon Prime Video, Youtube Movies, Apple TV, Vudu, and Google Play. In addition to the three films produced so far, a live-action adaptation was recently acquired by Legendary Entertainment that will be directed by Shinsuke Sato. Season 5 of the anime is currently airing on in the U.S. on Adult Swim after the full season finished airing in Japan in September. The final two episodes of My Hero Academia will air on Adult Swim on November 7.
