Kagurabachi Has Been Recognized By Peers & Fans Alike

Created by Takeru Hokazono

Kagurabachi has been praised for its amazing art, dynamic choreography, and fight scenes. This was one of the things Horikoshi noticed and loved, given that his own series is just as action-packed. The composition was the main thing he loved, comparing it to those of films. Week after week, Horikoshi was blown away by the masterful arrangement of the panels that mesmerized while also clearly expressing what was going on. He then went on to describe Hokazono as cool.

Everything Horikoshi said couldn’t be more true. Page after page, Takeru Hokazono’s art has been consistently vivid and detailed. The fights are intense, and the landscapes are gorgeous. Likewise, Hokazono seems to be a fan of My Hero Academia as the image posted by the account seems to have a Deku and Bakugou figurine in the background, something only die-hard fans indulge in. Mutual respect among mangaka is a regular but great thing to see, and hopefully, Hokazono and Horikoshi become friends.

It is interesting to note that Horikoshi is very proactive when it comes to mentoring and befriending other Shonen Jump creators. He welcomed Yuki Tabata with open arms, is close friends with Gege Akutami, respected by Eichiro Oda, and forged a bond with Masashi Kishimoto. Takeru Hokazono has gained a new fan in Horikoshi, which should not only boost his morale as an artist, but also get new readers for the series, as the creator of My Hero Academia holds a lot of influence.
